What is Plus Sizing?

Plus sizing is a good way to enhance the look and performance of your vehicle. Stock vehicles usually come with standard tires and wheels from the manufacturer that operate within set parameters of performance comfort and appearance. By increasing the sizing of wheels, road handling and cornering ability is usually enhanced. Depending on the increase in size relevant to your vehicle, performance can be enhanced with minimal effect on comfort.

Plus 1: when the wheels replacing factory wheels are bigger by one inch.

Example:

Original wheels and tires: 17 x 6.5 wheels with 215 50 17 tires (the last two digits denote the size of the tire and must match to the size of the wheels).

New replacement custom wheels and tires: 18 x 8 wheels with 225 45 18 tires.
